World Percussion Duo
A participatory concert-listening that proposes a rhythmic journey through Brazil, Africa, India, and the Orient. A dialogue between cultures through percussion instruments from around the world, with pedagogy, communication, and creativity as its main pillars.
Sobre el Proyecto
World Percussion Duo is a participatory concert-listening created by Riadh Ahmed & Ernest Martinez, two experienced percussionists who propose a sound tasting through instruments from different cultures and musical roots of the world.
The show presents an enriching rhythmic dialogue between East and West, showcasing different techniques applied to the instruments and the musical personality of its performers.
With a wide and colorful repertoire, the duo builds evocative soundscapes inspired by Brazil, Africa, India and the Orient, with nuances of flamenco, imagination and creativity.
Communication with the public and pedagogy are the priorities of this audition, designed as a close, participatory and lively experience.
